The hub will be home to multidisciplinary teams, comprised by some of the brightest scientists, united by the singular goal of developing innovative treatments that revolutionize the field of life science.
As part of the hub, we are building a vibrant scientific department bringing forward the next generation of drug delivery systems to unlock the therapeutic potential of new modalities across a range of serious chronic diseases. We will explore and advance novel drug delivery technologies such as oral, subcutaneous and alternative routes to address unmet needs in close collaboration with colleagues in greater Boston and Denmark.
We are a part of Research & Early Development (R&ED) at Novo Nordisk. We work in multidisciplinary teams with our R&ED colleagues to drive the idea exploration and early drug discovery process. We engage in external collaborations e.g, with leading universities and biotech companies to access the latest research and technology innovation.
The team in greater Boston will consist of 15+ scientists supporting drug delivery technology innovation. We are located in new state-of-the-art, purpose-built lab facilities equipped with cutting-edge equipment in a dynamic community; Our team in greater Boston, will bring together the brightest minds in life science. We will build an interdisciplinary team of world-class drug delivery, pharmaceutical and formulation scientists.
You have documented experience in advanced drug delivery (oral, subcutaneous, alternative routes) and pharmaceutical sciences in general. Hands-on experience and knowledge about formulating new modalities, characterizing delivery systems and the physiology of biological barriers is desired. Furthermore, you must have a demonstrated evidence (publication, patents, etc.) of innovation within novel drug delivery systems.
You will be part of building a team based on collaboration and cutting-edge science with leading experts where innovation is at the core. You will bring your own ideas to the table and work closely with colleagues and external partners.
